BLOOMINGTON, Ind. _ It was no big deal, Indiana coach Mike Davis insisted. The students love to rush the court. Heck, he said, they would do it if the Hoosiers beat "Slippery Rock State."
But the last two times the students rushed the court at Assembly Hall, the only State the Hoosiers beat was Michigan State.
It happened Jan. 7, 2001, when No. 1 MSU, the defending national champion, was upset, 59-58, and it didn't happen again until Sunday, when No. 10 Michigan State lost in overtime, 78-74.
