Feb. 25--No longer PepsiCo Inc.'s largest revenue producer, Plano-based Frito-Lay North America said Thursday that it would boost ad spending and reposition key brands to increase sales.

PepsiCo's international unit posted a 14 percent revenue jump to nearly $10 billion last year. That edged Frito-Lay's $9.6 billion and led some analysts to wonder whether Frito-Lay was still a growth prospect.
