If you are shopping for products to set up home wireless networks, gear vendors hope you look for the Mimo label.
Mimo is a new version of the popular Wi-Fi wireless network standard. Companies such as the Linksys unit of Cisco Systems, Netgearand privately held D-Link offer Mimo gear or soon plan to.
Mimo -- which stands for multiple input, multiple output -- can transmit data up to 10 times faster than Wi-Fi.
