December marked the one-year anniversary of Bombardier Inc. selling its recreational product line and the creation of BRP. So how is BRP now? More importantly, what can we expect from Bombardier ATVs in the years to come? We wondered what BRP had been up to and why it had been so quiet as of late. Then we heard about job cuts and BRP also declined to attend our annual ATV Trials event. We wondered what was going on in Canada, and finally got a chance to find out.

We participated in a roundtable with a few other Ehlert Publishing editors and BRP representatives, including President and CEO Jose Boisjoli. There he spoke about BRP's corporate strategy, two-strokes and the future of Bombardier ATVs.
BOMBARDIER ATV
Boisjoli and BRP know they had their hands full when they started developing ATVs. And because BRP joined the market as the "seventh player" it faced an uphill battle from the start. To prepare for the uphill climb, Boisjoli said BRP sought to bring better product to the market with a focus on innovation and performance. Boisjoli said Bombardier ATVs are a good product and complete all-season products lineup.
