FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ Lisa Chauvin loved to take a chair into her sunroom after work, drink a glass of wine and watch the birds fly over her peaceful view of the canal and preserve. But, despite the awe-inspiring view, the room lacked serenity, and she didn't have a clue how to fix it.
Chauvin, a 12th-grade teacher, had moved into her two-bedroom Coconut Creek, Fla. condo after a divorce. Andree, her sister, was helping her get settled when they saw Martin Amado's "Room for Improvement" segment on Miami's WSVN-Ch. 7's newscast. The segment was an epiphany and Chauvin decided to ask Amado for help.
