FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ What do you notice as he sits at this new locker in this new clubhouse with this new team? That orange is all wrong on him? Or this new start is necessary for him?

Do you notice his smile and see the canary of steroids? Or do you see it as sunshine that baseball still needs and this new lineup covets?

Do you see Chicago? "I only see Baltimore," Sammy Sosa says.

Do you wonder what went wrong there? "I only think what can go right here," he says.

Can you get past the specter of steroids? "That page is closed," he says.

If it's Wednesday, it's Sammy's turn. That's how the tour du jour goes...
