Construction To Start on Unser realignment.

Feb. 23--ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday on the realignment of Unser through the Petroglyph National Monument.
The contract to build less than a mile of Unser from Montano to Universe was awarded to Salls Brothers Construction, for $5 million. The company also won the $5 million contract last year for utility work installed under the new Unser Dogleg. A water line will carry water from the new San Juan Chama diversion project to the Volcano Cliffs reservoir. The work also includes sewer lines and storm drains.
