NAPLES, Fla. _ Nobody was sadder to see the Royal Caribbean Classic fold on the Champions Tour than Bruce Fleisher.
Traditionally the first full-field event on the schedule of the 50-and-over set, the tour stop at Crandon Park at Key Biscayne wasn't played last week for the first time in 19 years.
That meant Fleisher did not get to defend the title he won there a year ago.
He's getting used to that kind of disappointment. This marks the seventh Champions Tour event he has won that no longer exists.
