Feb. 23--Apartment owners in Harlem and other uptown neighborhoods are sitting on gold mines. The average sale price of apartments in upper Manhattan has skyrocketed.
Prices are up a staggering 333.7 percent in the past decade, and have gained 36.9 percent in the past year alone, appraisal firm Miller Samuel said yesterday in its first full-scale assessment of this market for residential brokerage Prudential Douglas Elliman.
