Feb. 21--Societe Generale is moving about 350 support staffers out of Manhattan -- to the Jersey City waterfront.
The financial-services giant rented nearly 100,000 square feet at Newport Office Center VII -- and aims to move people there by year's end, company spokesman Jim Galvin said.
Some are now housed at the investment bank's New York City headquarters, a half million-square-foot office at 1221 Sixth Ave. Others work at 560 Lexington Ave.
