Feb. 21--BROWARD TOURIST COUNCIL GETS NEW MEMBER: Stepping down from the Tourist Development Council in Broward County is Philip Goldfarb, who served on the panel for 11 years. Tom Roth, general manager of the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Plantation, will succeed him.
Goldfarb had been appointed to the council when he managed the Guest Quarters Suite hotel in Fort Lauderdale. He recently became executive vice president of the hospitality division of Turnberry Associates in Aventura.
Goldfarb's seat on the council is one filled by the county commission. "They …
