Feb. 18--The Florida legislature should completely reexamine Citizens' Property Insurance Co., including how the state-run insurer of last resort sets rates, pays bonuses to agents, and whether it should continue to cover some of the most expensive coastal property in South Florida.
Those are some of the 20 recommendations made Thursday by the House and Senate's Joint Select Committee on Hurricane Insurance at the panel's final meeting.
