BETHESDA, MD. -- The incidence of campylobacter infections has dropped since the late 1990s, but at the same time the proportion of infections resistant to ciprofloxacin has risen, Jennifer M. Nelson said at an annual conference on antimicrobial resistance sponsored by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases.
