Where do you stay?
The Gazelle d'Or in Taroudant. You fly into Agadir and then
drive over the Atlas Mountains. You stay in these little cottages- very traditional Moorish architecture and furniture. It's how I would imagine the Orient Express was in the 1920s: All of the men are in white suits and hats-a time warp. You get an interesting mix of people, too: When I last went, Jacques Chirac had just checked out, and Catherine Deneuve and Karolina Kurkova were both staying. I think it's the best hotel in the world.
