Where do you stay?
At my family home. My brother and I now own the house, so we often end up having overlapping trips. I also love to go up there with a big group of friends, especially over the July Fourth weekend.
What do you pack?
I'll wear Juicy Couture cashmere knits and cords when it's foggy, and a bathing suit all day when it's hot. I always take big hats: When you come into the entrance hall of the house there's a whole row of hats hanging up. My favorites are by Susan Van Der Lind, huge raffia and sisal straw hats. Lately, my sister-in-law and I have got into the habit of dressing up for dinner. That's so not what is expected up there, which makes it a lot of fun. I'll wear something like a great caftan-I always drop
by Roberta Freymann before I go-or a long chiffon dress.
