Feb. 28--RadioShack will begin this summer putting kiosks and mini-electronics stores into 130 Blockbuster video rental shops in a joint sales and marketing agreement announced by the two companies Tuesday.
Austin will be among the first of four markets for the RadioShack-inside-Blockbuster concept. Others include Las Vegas, Tulsa, Okla., and Norfolk, Va.
Executives of Fort Worth-based RadioShack Corp. said the deal will allow it to tap a more youthful market and increase the relatively low frequency at which household members shop at RadioShack....
