Feb. 26--Trips to Paris and London aside, being a retail apparel buyer isn't all glamour, says Sherry Dorman.
When Ms. Dorman, owner of The Bridal Portfolio in McKinney, travels to New York and Europe to attend bridal gown trade shows, she's often so busy she doesn't have time to eat.
"It's hard work," said Ms. Dorman. "You rarely get to stop for lunch. I book my appointments an hour apart and by elevator bank, if you can imagine that."
