Feb. 24--Despite the trouble other grocers have had making money on the Internet, Publix Super Markets continues to prepare for the launch of its online delivery service.
PublixDirect, the grocery chain's online subsidiary, announced plans Friday to launch service in Atlanta by summer 2002. Atlanta is the third market that Florida's dominant supermarket chain has targeted for online grocery ordering with either home delivery or pick-up.
