Feb. 27--The creation gazes deep into your eyes, watches the way your lips move when you speak and commits the sound of your voice to memory.
No, it's not the ideal companion, but the latest user identification system from BioID, a Berlin-based company that's introducing itself to the North American market as part of the winter 2001 Biometrics summit held this week in Miami Beach.
