For four generations, the Dogliani family has been producing fine Italian wines under the Batasiolo label. The winery's products reflect the best that the native grapes of Piedmont offer.
The 1998 Batasiolo Roero Arneis is a substitute for chardonnay. Produced from arneis grapes (the name means "rascal") grown on the hills surrounding Alba, this white has earthy body and a dry, sharp finish typical of Piedmont.
