SHOP TALK: Susan Stratton was born to sell. "I always sold the most magazines or Girl Scout cookies. I love retail; I love to sell things," Stratton said, but most of all, "I love to sell ideas."

As a schoolteacher, Stratton's marketing skills came in handy. "When you're teaching, you're selling ideas."
