Mar. 13--Charlie Minter, a bear among bears, thinks we ain't seen nothin' yet.
Before we see the S&P 500 index at 1,500 again (it closed yesterday at 1,180), we'll see it at 500, he said.
"We believe this will be a much worse environment than everyone else," Minter said.
Of course, Minter, who co-manages two funds for Gabelli Comstock, has made a lot of money over the past year betting on that direction.
