Mar. 20--SALT LAKE CITY--After a week in the sun of San Carlos, Mexico, Kim and Heather Humpherys from North Ogden didn't even know there was a worldwide foot-and-mouth disease emergency going on.

Let alone that they were guinea pigs to show off the program to keep it out of Utah.

So there they were at the Salt Lake International Airport Friday afternoon, tanned and calm, getting off a plane from Mexico where they were met by a bevy of news media who wanted to know how dirty their shoes were.
