Mar. 16--The city's plan for a new trading facility for the New York Stock Exchange cleared a big hurdle yesterday, with officials reaching a deal with J.P. Morgan Chase to buy land needed for the building for $220 million.
"We've reached an agreement with the city," confirmed Charlotte Gilbert-Biro, a spokeswoman for J.P. Morgan Chase.
