Mar. 16--A west Plantation church is uncertain whether it will allow a cellphone antenna on its property, partly because of neighborhood opposition.
Sprint PCS hopes to place an antenna inside a 100-foot tall flagpole topped with Old Glory and placed on the far southwest corner of the West Broward Church of Christ property, at 12550 W. Broward Blvd.
Sprint would lease the land, and the church would hopefully gain untaxable income from the agreement, said church elder Lee Bitting.
