Mar. 16--Miami International Airport would need to issue more bonds, win extra grant money or collect higher passenger fees to raise an additional $600 million to meet the new cost estimate its expansion plan.
If it increases its debt load, the airport might have to raise the fees it charges airlines, making it more costly for carriers to operate.
