Mar. 29--TRENTON, N.J.--Questioning the federal government's final witness, financier Robert E. Brennan's defense attorney yesterday took another swing at Peter Bond, Brennan's former asset manager who has given key testimony against him.
Had the FBI thoroughly investigated Bond, attorney Michael Critchley charged, it would have uncovered a range of questionable behavior from mysterious airplane trips to Russian money laundering.
"You're just relying on what he didn't tell you," Critchley told FBI agent Robert Sica, the government's witness.
