Mar. 26--Credit scores, those elusive numbers that gauge the health of consumers' credit, are finally available to the public.
The service is called Score Power, recently launched by Fair, Isaac & Co and Equifax, one of the three major credit bureaus.
A credit or "risk" score is a snapshot of your credit at a particular point in time.
Lenders use the score to determine how likely consumers are to repay their debts.
