Mar. 30--Setting the clock ticking toward a possible strike, the National Mediation Board released Delta Air Lines and its pilots to a 30-day cooling-off period Thursday, after the union rejected an offer of binding arbitration.
The 30-day period expires at 12:01 a.m., Sunday, April 29, after which time a strike could begin.
