Mar. 29--After two years of declining average attendance for Thoroughbred racing, Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie is shifting its sales pitch to appeal to more males and moderate-income households.
In past advertising campaigns, the racetrack concentrated on marketing to 25- to 54-year-old adults with annual incomes of $50,000 or more, said G.W. Hail, the vice president of marketing and sales.
