Mar. 29--EVERGREEN GALA TO AID CANCER FIGHT: The 10th annual French Impressions Evergreen Gala benefiting the American Cancer Society is Saturday at the Doubletree Hotel Lincoln Centre.
Dr. George N. Peters, executive director of the Center for Breast Care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, will receive the Sherry W. Crow Evergreen Award.
The evening, which starts with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30, also will include a tribute to the late Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry, a live and silent auction, a raffle and dancing to the Bill Tillman Band.
Tickets are $125 each....
