May 15--If for some reason you're looking for those startling Monty Pythonesque ads for Mike's Hard Lemonade on ABC-owned station WLS-Ch. 7, you'll have to change the channel.
The station has refused to air them--and not because of the recent controversy surrounding so-called "alcopops" and other sweet-tasting malt beverages that critics say are targeting underage drinkers. In fact, Channel 7 airs ads for another in the category, Seagram Ice.
