Apr. 25--It's the kind of story his famous father's infamous tabloid might have published.
The son of deceased National Enquirer founder Generoso Pope Jr. is suing Citibank over a disputed $3 million in his former trust account -- the first legal step that could lead to his demand for monetary damages from the behemoth New York-based bank.
Paul Pope, 33, claims that Citibank transferred about $12 million from his account to Mellon Trust of Florida in May 1999 -- but "improperly held back and retained control" of assets totaling more than $3...
