Aprilia has announced a number of significant changes to some of the bikes in its lineup for 2002, and dazzled Milan, Italy, showgoers last September with a concept bike based upon the liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 998cc, 60-degree V-twin that powers all of its big bikes. The Blue Marlin resembles a '60s cafe racer, makes a claimed 130 horsepower and weighs just 343 pounds dry thanks in part to a composite chassis. This last would most likely be replaced should the Marlin make it to production, but the bike is unlikely to come here in any case. Just thought you'd like to see it.
