Apr. 27--A new federal aviation report showing which major airports are most congested suggests that passengers frustrated by delays can expect little relief in the upcoming summer months, a time of peak travel.
Congestion during peak hours and bad weather at the eight airports suffering the worst delays will disrupt traffic throughout the entire system because holdups at one airport cause a domino effect elsewhere.
But for all of its well-chronicled faults, Miami International Airport stacks up well against the competition in one regard: Only 1.1 percent of its flights were delayed last year, with 17 of the nation's major airports suffering from more frequent delays.
