May 22--Cruise giant Carnival Corp. will sell its 25 percent holding of Airtours PLC, the largest tour operator in Britain, citing a shift in Airtours' corporate strategy.
The companies, which had close ties since 1996 when Carnival bought a minority stake in Airtours, began parting ways last year when Carnival bought Airtours' 50 percent stake in Costa Cruises.
