May 30--Scott Heiferman has reached success and lived through failure at 28.
At 22, he started an online ad company, i-traffic, in his apartment in Astoria, Queens. Four years later, he and his investors sold it to another Internet firm, Agency.com, for about $25 million in cash and stock. His next start-up, RocketBoard, which made specialized keyboards for Internet surfing, went belly-up in less than a year.
So what is he doing now?
"Goofing off," he says matter of factly, as if it were the formula for a new business plan....
