May 28--RICHARDSON, Texas--Some Richardson businesses are bracing for rocky times, hoping customers won't avoid the city as work begins on rebuilding the interchange at North Central Expressway and LBJ Freeway.
The most nervous business owners are clustered around Central's intersection with Spring Valley Road.
That area has been torn up since January, when construction began to expand Spring Valley and rebuild the Central service roads.
