May 25--NationsRent is gushing red ink and its stock has been in a free fall, but Chairman and Chief Executive James T. Kirk reassured shareholders Thursday that the Fort Lauderdale-based construction equipment rental company is a viable business.
"We intend to be here," Kirk told shareholders at the company's annual meeting. "We're doing what we think is [best] to improve and grow the business."
That didn't satisfy some shareholders, who have watched NationsRent's stock tumble from its initial public offering...
