May 25--In the language of the Telecom Corridor, Bryan Anderson is worried about the burn rate on his finances, and he's hoping a job will bring him an influx of capital so he can make his bank account cash-flow positive.
In other words, Mr. Anderson is out of work as a computer systems specialist and wants a steady paycheck so he can pay his bills.
Mr. Anderson's job disappeared about a month ago when @Link Networks Inc., a Richardson startup, closed its doors. But he had been expecting it and had been seeking work for some time.
"You go through a lot of cash dealing with house payments, car payments and basic living expenses," Mr. Anderson said. "When companies file Chapter 11 or 13 bankruptcy and end up closing their doors, these are the things that happen to you."
