May 24--Noven Pharmaceuticals of Miami has patented a skin patch capable of administering a full day's dose of medicine to people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Noven said Wednesday that the patent was issued last month and will extend through 2018. It covers the technology by which Noven's MethyPatch will deliver methylphenidate -- the chemical name of the drugs Ritalin, Concerta and Aderall -- for up to 24 hours....
