HOUSTON _ The Marlins have to hope the stadium issue doesn't become a distraction for Charles Johnson, who is enjoying the best April of his career and the best of any catcher in the majors this season.
During the team's disappointing 8-13 start, Johnson has batted .333 with eight doubles, seven home runs and 16 RBI in 17 games. He's ranked fourth in the majors in slugging percentage (.773), second in slugging against right-handers (.889) and second in percentage of runners caught stealing (6 of 11).
