They possess the best-trained eyes in golf.
As the game's most gifted teachers, they see so plainly what the rest of us can't, the subtle movements in a swing that are just a blur to the untrained eye. They see cause when the rest of us merely see effect.
Rarely have so many of Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Teachers" been gathered together the way they were this week at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie. Twenty-one of them roamed the property in a Nationwide Financial Services corporate outing.
"I've been to golf outings where four or five of the Top 100 teachers have been together, but I don't know that there have ever been this many gathered at the same outing," said Mark Wood of the Mark Wood Golf Academy at Grande Oaks. "It's unique."
