Jul. 21--The Federal Communications Commission has approved the sale of WRAT-FM in South Belmar and three other New Jersey radio stations to East Brunswick-based Greater Media Inc., company officials said yesterday.

After buying the stations from New Jersey Broadcasting Partners for $80 million, Greater Media will have six stations covering central and northern New Jersey.

Greater Media said it planned no changes to the stations' personnel or formats. "We're going to keep (WRAT) as it is and hope to make it even better," said Barbara Burns, senior vice president and general counsel for Greater Media.
