Jul. 30--Business is buzzing.
Since the West Nile virus showed up in North Florida, many local businesses have seen a run on any and all products designed to battle the mosquito. The first human case of the virus in Florida was discovered in Madison County last week. In North Florida, several birds and one horse have died from the disease.
Lowe's and Home Depot have been nearly swept clean of mosquito foggers. "We carry five types, and we're completely out," Mike Hosler, a manager at Lowe's on Capital Circle Northeast, said Friday afternoon. "As soon as we get them in, they're gone."
