Brownsville Navigation District will enter new fiscal year without budget.

Feb. 17--The Brownsville Navigation District's new fiscal year begins March 1, but BND board commissioners won't approve the operating budget before then.
Finance Director Debby Duke told the board Wednesday that the proposed budget is still being formulated, and she suggested a March 2 board workshop.
Duke told the board it is not necessary to adopt the budget prior to the start of the new fiscal year.
