Feb. 14--PRATTVILLE -- The future soon may see unblinking eyes in the sky at Prattville intersections, all part of a program to prevent running red lights on city streets.

The Prattville City Council has sent a resolution to the Legislature backing efforts to allow cities to use traffic control cameras.

"We are seeing our population grow, and as a result we are seeing traffic on our streets increase," said Dean Argo, the council's president. "I can't speak for the other council members, but the majority of my calls deal with traffic problems, and running red …
