New ad director comes on board at Appeal-Democrat.

Feb. 8--The Appeal-Democrat has named a new advertising director, Kevin Garrity.
Garrity, 26, joined the team Monday, bringing with him extensive print-media experience.
Garrity, who lives in Grass Valley, comes to the Appeal-Democrat from the Daily Democrat in Woodland, where he was the advertising director. He also worked as the ad director for the Madera Tribune near Fresno.
"It's a pleasure being associated with the Appeal-Democrat and Freedom Communications," Garrity said.
