Nashua marketing firm to benefit from a couple of veterans.

Feb. 6--NASHUA -- Who better to run a public relations consulting firm than two former television news directors and a veteran politician?

Jack Heath, former news director at WMUR-TV and WNDS-TV, and Alicia Preston, who spent the past year as Gov. Craig Benson's press secretary and was also news director at WNDS-TV, have joined Meridian Communications, a new marketing firm in downtown Nashua in the historic the Picker Building.

Heath co-founded Meridian with Mike Biundo, a Republican state representative from Manchester, who worked for the Pat Buchanan campaign in 1996, the year Buchanan won the Republican primary.

Biundo, Heath and Preston have a combined 50 years experience in politics and media -- making for a unique background for a public relations firm.
