WHO HAS THE EDGE?

_When the Patriots have the ball: In two playoff games, New England has shown the ability to grind and strike quick. Given that the Eagles like to blitz a lot, look for at least a half dozen long throws by QB Tom Brady to challenge the Eagles' overexposed secondary.

_When the Eagles have the ball: Philadelphia QB Donovan McNabb is the most dynamic player the Patriots have faced this season, and he can create time to take advantage of New England's inexperienced secondary. The big key to this game is how effective Eagles WR Terrell Owens will be.

QUARTERBACKS

_PATRIOTS: After winning two Super Bowls in the past three years and getting to this third one, it's hard to deny the greatness of Brady. He is perhaps the most accurate thrower the game has seen since Joe Montana. His timing is impeccable, and he simply doesn't make mistakes.
